27 weeks.....

I know, I know...it's been awhile since I have posted anything in awhile, SORRY!! I have had some busy weeks. First of all I had a FANTABULUS time with my girlies, Brittany and Lisa both came to visit last weekend. We had a little cookout action at our house and I got to put all of my lovely hosting skills to test. This was the FIRST time we have ever really hosted anything and I enjoyed it. Normally I get really anxious and worry a lot about having people over, I know it's ridiculous, but I do. You never know if someones gonna like the food you make as much as you do!!!!! Britt and I got to hangout and chat and just catchup which I love to do. WE had some good laughs and she got to see how we squirt the dogs with water if they jump up on people....because Gio did this to her a lot. HE LOVES his auntie!! I loved seeing my girls and it was the first time that they got to see the preg-o bump in person. YAY!!!!
Other than that, I have started back to school so this has taken up some of my time and I have just been catching up on sleep and time with the hubs. We had a date night on Friday and it was well needed. WE had a nice dinner at cap city and then Jeni's ice cream for dessert...YUM!! I highly recommend the pecan crusted pork chops at cap city-delish!! And of course you can never go wrong with a little Jeni's.
So I am at my 27 week mark as you can see in the pics and everything has been going well. She has been moving around a ton and tends to be the reason I wake up in the morning.....if I wake up before the alarm clock. I have had some monumental moments, I must say: at work I have had several clients, who I don't chat with on a regular basis like others, comment on me being pregnant and how far along I am....this was weird to me, and my mom finally got to fell the little babe move which she was super excited about. Stella has been enjoying the church music on Sundays, she moves around like crazy and then settles down after it's done. She is going to be jamming during worship when she get's bigger!!!
Well this was a little update for you all, I will start posting more often now that I won't be as busy this week. We are getting the 3d/4d pics done tomorrow so hopefully I will be able to post some on here. For now, enjoy the preg-o pics and the doggies in their halloween shirts. God bless you all and I will talk at you soon. PEACE;)

Follow up on wearing heels

Wearing heels went a lot better than I thought. I started at 9:00 and they didn't really start hurting until around 3:30 or so. But I do have to say, when they started hurting, they were REALLY hurting. I looked cute for the day and that's all that matters, right?
On another note, I am having some major heartburn today and it started with a chocolate chip cookie....I find this to be weird, but whatevs. Woof is buying some tums for me and hopefully it takes it away. I should be eating dinner soon and it so doesn't sound good since this heartburn thing is going on. Gotta fatten this baby up though. She is only 2 pounds right now, we need her to get bigger! Well Woof is home now, gonna feed myself the meds and hopefully eat dinner. Talk at you soon, PEACE;)

Wearing heels today....heelarious!!

I am wearing heels for the first time, during my pregnancy, today. We shall see how it works out for me, especially since I have been having problems in the leg department. haha!! I will give an update on how it goes! Luckily, they are low heels, no 4 inch stuff going on.
I had a great weekend with all of my girls in town visiting, it was soooo great to see them and for them to see this lovely belly of mine for the first time. I wish they lived here so we could visit ALL the time. Oh well, life takes you different places sometimes, but that's why you have to hold on to those friendships and hold tight.
Today I am going to church, this is the first Sunday we have woken up early enough, since I have been pregnant, to be able to go. It is well needed at this time. I have been missing it and I need it back in my life, it is important to me and makes me who I am.
Today is also the 3yr anniversary of my gma Ventresco's death so I will be going to the cemetery to visit her and the gpa. Oh how I miss them!!! I haven't been to the cemetery in about 2yrs, but remember them in my own way. Today I KNOW that I need to go visit the grave site. In honor of the grandparents here are a few of my favorite things each of them said, and this says a lot about their personalities and who they were: My grandma is saying this to me as she is holding a banana and rubberband "Here let me show you how to put a condom on a guy Vanessa". I don't know what the conversation was about when my grandpa said this: "Your grandma was one hard cherry to pop". They are such sick comments, but HEELARIOUS to think that they came from my grandparents mouths. LOVE AND MISS THEM!!!
Everyone have a great day and I will talk at you soon, PEACE;)

Elevating those legs

So my legs have been bothering me like crazy, they hurt when I sit, stand, whatever. So I have been trying to eleveate them as often as possible, drink plenty of water and sit as much as possible. Today I am running around with my little niece Ava, so I don't know how much sitting I will be doing, but I will have plenty of time to sit later.
This little babe is moving around like crazy these days, although not so much this morning, I think she is upset with all the noise going on around here. WE are getting a new garage put in and it's getting pretty load over here because of that. And just as I said that she started to move around, crazy little babe.
I am so excited because I have GREAT friends in town this weekend and I get to see them both. Lisa and Geoff are here tonight and coming over for a cookout, so I have some cooking to do today. And I get to see Britt tomorrow night. I CANT FREAKING WAIT!!! I haven't seen either of them in about 5-6 months and they have yet to see the ever growing belly in person. Stella gets to meet her aunties today and tomorrow, YAY!!!
Well, I have a little girl waiting to play with me, although she is pretty independent and definately into the dogs and locking them up in the cage and let me just say they are LOVING that.
Everyone have a great day and I will talk at you soon, PEACE;)

My homemade (Woof made it) halloween costume!!

I went to a baby shower today that was also a halloween contest. So, we went the cheap route and tried to put something together, or should I say, Woof did. He put this mask together so that it would fit around the belly, and yes those are dog collars that I bought that didn't fit the dogs, so he thought he would put them to good use. Looks pretty good, eh? Although I would've liked if we had friendlier pumpkin faces, I feel like we look like the devil pumpkins. Oh well! It was fun and funny to see myself in this lovely attire. I put a couple of before pics and a couple after pics!! Look at that beautiful artwork. Ok, well it's time to eat my homemade mashed potatoes and grilled hotdogs........YUMMMMM!!! Talk at you soon, PEACE;)
