33 weeks and 3rd baby shower

I am 33 weeks now and things are feeling a little different in the belly. Before I could definately feel her moving. Yes, I can still feel this, but I can feel a lot of other things as well. I can feel her from the outside and my stomach is moving with her. When she kicks or hits or moves you can see my stomach make these moves with her. It is quite interesting and makes me laugh every time because I am so amazed by it.
We had a docs appointment last week and they think that she is going to be about 7.5 pds. Everything is looking really good and she is growing right on target. Now we just have to wait 7 weeks for her to arrive. We have another appointment next week and then we have one the week of Thanksgiving and then we start our "once-a-week" appointments.
I have completely put the crib together and now looking for all the decorations. I am eager to get it all put together and done...SOON!!! Now that we have had all of our baby showers we can focus on what we still need to buy and get everything up and ready to go for the little babe!
Right now we are looking for a pediatrician and still trying to figure out who baby Potter will be spending her days with while mommy and daddy work. So hard to think about, don't know how I will cope, but know that I have to do it!! That's why I am in school though...so I can eventually stay home with her and work from home...hopefully 2yrs from now this will happen!
Our 3rd baby shower was GREAT. I had good company and got lots of good things. We got our swing, pack-n-play, clothes, diapers, wipes, hangers and other good's. I think we are ready for her to arrive!!!
I am going to try and post more within these last 7 weeks, I have just been busy with work and school goods. Enjoy the pics and I will talk at you soon, GOD bless you all, PEACE;)

Osu game and Halloween party....

We went to the Osu game today...Stella's first!!! It was a good time, it was a little chilly, but overall it wasn't too bad. We had AWESOME seats, thanks to Chris' CEO letting us have them for the day, 16AA at the twenty yard line....10 rows back from the field..AMAZING!!! I found out today that a pregnant lady should not try to walk 1 1/2 miles fast......your baby doesn't enjoy it and you won't either. SO MUCH PRESSURE!! I kept having to slow down and Chris told me several times that he has never walked so slow in his life, uh-oh, he is usually a VERY slow walker. Luckily they have these new carriage type rides down there and lets just say we definately paid for it and it was WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!! I went from a sad prego to a happy prego! I am just a little nervous because we are doing the Making Strides for Breast Cancer 5k tomorrow, about 3 1/2 miles, this might take us about 3 1/2 hrs if it goes anything like it did today.
Last time I posted I was getting ready for my 2nd baby shower.....it was great. I had everyone there that I loved and wanted to spend time with. We got lots of goodies and tons of clothes....which means MORE LAUNDRY FOR US!! The pics above are me at 30 weeks and ready for the shower, all the hostess' and all the clothes we received. ENJOY!
After the walk tomorrow we are supposed to have prego pics and then our first prego class. As of today, I think I might cancel the prego pics, I think we have too much going on in one day. I will let you know the verdict tomorrow. I will also fill you in on the prego class.......should be fun!!!! Everyone have a great night, I've gotta get ready for my Michael Jackson debut. I will talk at you soon, GOD bless you all, PEACE;)

Today's a biggg day

It's baby shower day!! YAY!! I am soooo excited and can't wait to see everyone. But hope I can stay awake for it all. I had a rough nights sleep. I didn't fall asleep until 1 am, woke up at 5am, was up for about an hour, slept, woke up again at 8 am. Stella was kickin' away last night and I might add that when I woke up at 5 am I was HUNGRY. I actually ate breakfast at 5 am!! I have never done that, unless it was because we left that early for a trip or something. I hope that I look awake today and can put on a happy face. GIVE ME THE STRENGTH!!
Well I will update you later on the baby shower, for now, have a GREAT day. GOD bless you all and I will talk at you soon, PEACE;)

30 week check up

Soooo, everything went good at our doc's appt. She is measuring right on target and her heart beat sounds great...she even kicked the heart beat monitor when the doc was trying to hear it...cute and funny. It was perfectly on target, her kick that is. Well, her pops did play soccer for a very long time and he was DANG good, it would be a dream of his for her to play and be good as well. Watch out everyone, STELLA the soccer queen is on her way.
As for the baby growing....apparently so is mommy. Another 9 pounds added to the baby weight. It's for a good reason, right? I am carrying a precious little bundle, I should be gaining this weight....RIGHT?? I am definately not used to it, still, and I am getting a little scared. I know they say you gain the most of your weight within the last trimester, I have 10 weeks to go, let's see what happens.
Other than that, I had the glucose test and they are testing my iron level and I should find out the goods in 7-10 days. Finally, no more blood will be drawn. We will start our every 2 week's appointments on the 30th and then we will start our once a week appointments on the week of November 30th. I will continue to update you all, as we are only 10 weeks away. CAN'T WAIT!!! Have a great evening, GOD bless you all and I will talk at you soon, PEACE;)

Hiccup queen

Last night was the first night that I could truely tell that she was having hiccups. It literally felt like a hiccup. It was an over-and-over repetitive little beat of the stomach. It was sooo cute! I was excited to get to feel that, because I kept wondering what it would be like. We have our 30 weeks appt tomorrow and excited to see where we stand. I will fill everyone in once we get all the goods. For now, it's shower time...I have lunch with the lovely Ashley Morrow and then who knows what will happen, IT'S GROSS OUT!! As always, a nap sounds just PERFECT!! Have a great day, GOD bless you all and I will talk at you soon, PEACE;)

29 weeks pics

Forgot to add these. Here is the growing belly at 29weeks...you know what that means, growing belly=growing baby. Don't know what that yellow one is all about....but it was on the camera so I just decided to put it on here.

Sooooo excited...

We have a big event coming up...my family/friends baby shower and I am SUPER excited. I am so excited to see/hangout with everyone and for those who don't get to see my bump that often....to see it. My sisters, mom and Britt have been working their butts off to put this whole thing together and have been keeping it a secret from me along the way, so I CAN'T wait to see the decorations, the food and all the love that they have put into it.
On another note, I am 29 weeks as of today, but will be 30 weeks on Wednesday. OUT OF THE 20's, yay!! I have been thinking about all the wonderful things to come....like LABOR and we are going to set up our pregnancy class this week. Can't wait to start this and learn all the wonderful things about having a natural birth and breastfeeding. It's funny how this day in age if you mention having a natural birth everyone tries to talk you out of it, the epidural has been "the thing" to have done for so long and its unbelievable to others that someone would not want to have this done. I am telling you now...I DON'T WANT AN EPIDURAL. For soooo many reasons and I will try my hardest to keep it from happening.
I have also realized that we will now have 10weeks left and I feel like we have so much to do. We need to finish her room, finish "the happiest baby on the block" book and video, put everything together, and do our classes.....and we have to do all of this in the midst of holidays, and all of our other weekly/weekend activites.
Well, my little pup Gio is at the vet hospital tonight for chewing the "sucky" part off of my nieces pacifier earlier today and that's why I am on here...it's 1:10 am and I should sooooo be in bed, so I am going to TRY and go back to sleep. GOD bless you all and I will talk at you soon, PEACE;)

Question for all the moms out there....

So I am up on my day off, it's 8:33, but I have been up since 7:45....why? you ask...well somebody woke me up this morning moving around and for once, it wasn't the dogs. Yes, it was little baby boo boo a.k.a Stella. It happened pretty close to the time that Chris left this morning, so he thinks she wanted to say "bye" to him. Could very well be, but unfortunately she can't say goodbye to him, so I got to feel all the movement and the goodbye instead. Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE feeling this and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world...but does it have to start at 7:30 in the morning on my day off??? Calling all MOTHERS, is this how the 3rd trimester goes? God and my little babe are preparing me for the day she arrives????? If so, I am definately going to continue to take advantage of all my mid-day naps on my days off and maybe sneak a few extras in.
On another note, its GORGEOUS out today, rainy and gloomy. At least I will be hanging out with 5 little ones inside a mall at the play area....they will make it an eventful day, right? Well GOD bless you all, have a wonderful day and I will talk at you soon, PEACE;)

Baby girl at 28 weeks....

Here are some pics of the baby girl! I think she is looking like the Potter family, but she is a little smooshed inside there right now, so we shall see!! ENJOY!!! In the second one she has her foot in her mouth and her eyes are open, in the 3rd one I think she looks like her grandpa Don...look at her little chin resting on her chest and in the last one, she is smiling!!!!! She is measuring a week bigger, so they have her due date as 12/17, but my original date doesn't change, it's still 12/23. She is 16 1/2 inches long and about 2 1/2 pounds. This is our baby Girl!!!!

3d/4d pics today, yay!!

We are getting our pics done today and I am SUPER excited! I can't wait to see our little mama again! I will try and post the pics on here if Woof gets them scanned in at work...no scanner at the house unfortunately. Check back tomorrow to see if they are up here. Love you all, God Bless and I will talk at you soon! Peace;)

27 weeks.....

I know, I know...it's been awhile since I have posted anything in awhile, SORRY!! I have had some busy weeks. First of all I had a FANTABULUS time with my girlies, Brittany and Lisa both came to visit last weekend. We had a little cookout action at our house and I got to put all of my lovely hosting skills to test. This was the FIRST time we have ever really hosted anything and I enjoyed it. Normally I get really anxious and worry a lot about having people over, I know it's ridiculous, but I do. You never know if someones gonna like the food you make as much as you do!!!!! Britt and I got to hangout and chat and just catchup which I love to do. WE had some good laughs and she got to see how we squirt the dogs with water if they jump up on people....because Gio did this to her a lot. HE LOVES his auntie!! I loved seeing my girls and it was the first time that they got to see the preg-o bump in person. YAY!!!!
Other than that, I have started back to school so this has taken up some of my time and I have just been catching up on sleep and time with the hubs. We had a date night on Friday and it was well needed. WE had a nice dinner at cap city and then Jeni's ice cream for dessert...YUM!! I highly recommend the pecan crusted pork chops at cap city-delish!! And of course you can never go wrong with a little Jeni's.
So I am at my 27 week mark as you can see in the pics and everything has been going well. She has been moving around a ton and tends to be the reason I wake up in the morning.....if I wake up before the alarm clock. I have had some monumental moments, I must say: at work I have had several clients, who I don't chat with on a regular basis like others, comment on me being pregnant and how far along I am....this was weird to me, and my mom finally got to fell the little babe move which she was super excited about. Stella has been enjoying the church music on Sundays, she moves around like crazy and then settles down after it's done. She is going to be jamming during worship when she get's bigger!!!
Well this was a little update for you all, I will start posting more often now that I won't be as busy this week. We are getting the 3d/4d pics done tomorrow so hopefully I will be able to post some on here. For now, enjoy the preg-o pics and the doggies in their halloween shirts. God bless you all and I will talk at you soon. PEACE;)

Follow up on wearing heels

Wearing heels went a lot better than I thought. I started at 9:00 and they didn't really start hurting until around 3:30 or so. But I do have to say, when they started hurting, they were REALLY hurting. I looked cute for the day and that's all that matters, right?
On another note, I am having some major heartburn today and it started with a chocolate chip cookie....I find this to be weird, but whatevs. Woof is buying some tums for me and hopefully it takes it away. I should be eating dinner soon and it so doesn't sound good since this heartburn thing is going on. Gotta fatten this baby up though. She is only 2 pounds right now, we need her to get bigger! Well Woof is home now, gonna feed myself the meds and hopefully eat dinner. Talk at you soon, PEACE;)

Wearing heels today....heelarious!!

I am wearing heels for the first time, during my pregnancy, today. We shall see how it works out for me, especially since I have been having problems in the leg department. haha!! I will give an update on how it goes! Luckily, they are low heels, no 4 inch stuff going on.
I had a great weekend with all of my girls in town visiting, it was soooo great to see them and for them to see this lovely belly of mine for the first time. I wish they lived here so we could visit ALL the time. Oh well, life takes you different places sometimes, but that's why you have to hold on to those friendships and hold tight.
Today I am going to church, this is the first Sunday we have woken up early enough, since I have been pregnant, to be able to go. It is well needed at this time. I have been missing it and I need it back in my life, it is important to me and makes me who I am.
Today is also the 3yr anniversary of my gma Ventresco's death so I will be going to the cemetery to visit her and the gpa. Oh how I miss them!!! I haven't been to the cemetery in about 2yrs, but remember them in my own way. Today I KNOW that I need to go visit the grave site. In honor of the grandparents here are a few of my favorite things each of them said, and this says a lot about their personalities and who they were: My grandma is saying this to me as she is holding a banana and rubberband "Here let me show you how to put a condom on a guy Vanessa". I don't know what the conversation was about when my grandpa said this: "Your grandma was one hard cherry to pop". They are such sick comments, but HEELARIOUS to think that they came from my grandparents mouths. LOVE AND MISS THEM!!!
Everyone have a great day and I will talk at you soon, PEACE;)

Elevating those legs

So my legs have been bothering me like crazy, they hurt when I sit, stand, whatever. So I have been trying to eleveate them as often as possible, drink plenty of water and sit as much as possible. Today I am running around with my little niece Ava, so I don't know how much sitting I will be doing, but I will have plenty of time to sit later.
This little babe is moving around like crazy these days, although not so much this morning, I think she is upset with all the noise going on around here. WE are getting a new garage put in and it's getting pretty load over here because of that. And just as I said that she started to move around, crazy little babe.
I am so excited because I have GREAT friends in town this weekend and I get to see them both. Lisa and Geoff are here tonight and coming over for a cookout, so I have some cooking to do today. And I get to see Britt tomorrow night. I CANT FREAKING WAIT!!! I haven't seen either of them in about 5-6 months and they have yet to see the ever growing belly in person. Stella gets to meet her aunties today and tomorrow, YAY!!!
Well, I have a little girl waiting to play with me, although she is pretty independent and definately into the dogs and locking them up in the cage and let me just say they are LOVING that.
Everyone have a great day and I will talk at you soon, PEACE;)

My homemade (Woof made it) halloween costume!!

I went to a baby shower today that was also a halloween contest. So, we went the cheap route and tried to put something together, or should I say, Woof did. He put this mask together so that it would fit around the belly, and yes those are dog collars that I bought that didn't fit the dogs, so he thought he would put them to good use. Looks pretty good, eh? Although I would've liked if we had friendlier pumpkin faces, I feel like we look like the devil pumpkins. Oh well! It was fun and funny to see myself in this lovely attire. I put a couple of before pics and a couple after pics!! Look at that beautiful artwork. Ok, well it's time to eat my homemade mashed potatoes and grilled hotdogs........YUMMMMM!!! Talk at you soon, PEACE;)

Dr's Appt

We had our checkup yesterday, andddddd everything looks good. My belly is measuring right on target and the babes heart beat sounds great!!!! Great news! NO ultrasound during this appointment, we won't have one for another 6 weeks so I think I am going to go and have the 3d/4d ultrasound done again....once we hit our 28 week mark. After our doctors appt we did our traditional lunch: FIVE GUYS, also know as, HEAVEN!!! Good eats, that's fo' sho!!!
We went and got our flu shots today, my doctor told me that it was a MUST that I get it by the end of the week so we went and did it as soon as I got off of work. Once she gets the vaccine for H1N1 in October I have to go back for that. This schtuff is freaking scarry, I wish it would all end, dang Panademic.
On a happy note, I am excited because the invitations to my next baby shower are being sent out, which means it will be here soon. I can't wait to see everyone.
Well Buckeyes will be playing soon and I need to sneak in a nap before it starts.....or else I won't be up for much of it. GOOOOOOO BUCKSSSSSSSS!!!!
Talk at you soon, PEACE;)

25 weeks....

Here are pics of the belly at 25 weeks. It is getting bigger and bigger and she has been moving around more and more, I am LOVING it! Enjoy the pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE ROOM IS PAINTED!!!!!

The room has been painted and it looks good. It is green, the colors are green and pink and I think I might even through a little bit of chocolate brown into the mix.....we shall see. Woof took his WHOLE Saturday to finish painting it, in the end it needed more coats than we thought it would, 3.
While he was painting I took a trip to Cincinnati to help find Jen's wedding dress, in which I believe she did. She looks GORGEOUS in it and it gave me the chills when she put it on. We had a fun girls trip and now I can't wait for the rest of the wedding planning process. It's so much fun to be on the other side of wedding planning....although I do think I want to get remarried every year so that I can wear a new dress....there are a lot of pretty dresses out there. All of these monumental moments in our lives makes me so excited, a baby and a wedding on the way, gotta love it!!!
Hopefully the rain settles! We plan on going to the upper arlington arts festival today, I want to find some unique things to hang in the babes room! Then we will be off to the rents for dinner and to get the final list together for the baby shower! FUNNNNNNN!! I love HOMECOOKED meals, especially when someone else makes them, YUM!!
I'm gonna get off of here for now, I will talk at you soon. PEACE;)

Shop 'til ya drop

I went to Jeffersonville outlet mall with my mama and Harper today and did some shopping. The whole reason for going was so that I could get some maternity clothes, they have a Motherhood Maternity there-SADDD SADDDD outlet, that's all I have to say. What's the point of calling it an outlet if you have the same exact stuff at the SAME exact prices-soooo annoying. I did get some shirts, not from there, from Old Navy and they aren't maternity, but have the look of a maternity shirt.
I found some SUPER comfortable shoes at Clarks-I know, sounds old womanish huh? Well they aren't, I mean I am not going to say they are the most fashionable, but they don't look grandmaish and comfort is key in this situation. They pass my expectations of comfortable.
Harper was definately getting me ready for motherhood, she is NOT a shopper at all-actually she HATES it. She didn't want to sit in her stroller at all so mom and I had to take turns letting her walk and watching her or holding her.....finally we remembered how much she likes straws and as soon as we got one, she was ready for whatever the world brought her.
I am now exhausted and ready to eat a healthy yummy dinner, bring it on Woof!! Everyone have a great Friday night and I will talk at you soon. PEACE ;)

Looking for a great foot massage

These puppies are killing me, that is FOR SURE!! YIKES! They hurt so bad I wanna cry. If anyone knows of some SUPER comfortable shoes, please let me know, I am in desperate need. I have been told Crocs have some really comfortable ones so I am going to check those out tomorrow, if you know of any other's I would love to check them out as well.
I am going to be doing a little shopping at the outlets tomorrow, I am need of some clothes that FIT!!! This belly is growing and growing.....which means this little babe is growing and growing. SO EXCITING!
Woof has been in Canada the past couple of days and I am missing him and want him to come home. I don't know if it's a good idea for him to travel when he has an emotional pregnant wife at home, haha! MISS YOU WOOF!
I did notice today that I think I am going to have to stop wearing the wedding band, if I can't get my rings off in the MIDDLE of the day, (not the morning or night when you know your fingers are going to be swollen, but the dead middle of the day) then they have to come off.
I am going to go catch the next 50 min of Oprah, have a great night and I will talk at you soon. PEACE ;)
